Join Us in Prayer!
The purpose of the “Watchmen on the Wall Ministry” is to enlist and support Prayer warriors who will commit to dedicate one time slot each week to pray for the Sierra Vista Church ministries.
Our prayer “Wall” is divided into 168 positions, one for each hour of the day, seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Each participant selects a position that corresponds with a time slot that fits their schedule, you may sign more than one person per time slot and agree to pray for the Sierra Vista Church ministries during that time. The sign-up chart will be posted on the church web site, with instructions on how to sign up for a prayer time and will also have a monthly list of prayer requests, these prayer requests will be updated the first of each month. The information on the Watchman Prayer site is different from information on the Church Prayer Chain and should be kept confidential.
At the conclusion of his/her prayer time each participant contacts the Watchman assigned to the next time slot and hand off the watch. However this contact should be agreed upon between the two Watchman ahead of time. A person's time on the wall is spent in the privacy of their home, office or wherever they choose. There are no meetings or other commitments other than spending a set time weekly praying for the Sierra Vista church ministries.
